Blackboard Course Maintenance
Archiving Blackboard Courses
At the end of each semester, course instructors should archive a copy of their courses in order to preserve course content and student data. Archiving a course makes a complete copy of the course that can be reuploaded into the system later if needed for grade disputes, coursework recovery, etc.
Copying Blackboard Courses
In order to transfer course content from one semester to the next, course instructors can export a course package containing course content--such as files, tests, and assignments--and import that course package into a new course shell.
